Matt Perrignon
Matt Perrignon demonstrated his versatility as a brass player by successfully graduating from a classical French horn background to the jazz trombone in the mid 1990s. Before Slewfoot, Matt concentrated on big band/ensemble work, spending time in the trombone chair with the DownBeat Horns and the Rob Morrison Big Band.
In 1995 he joined "Slewfoot" and enjoyed a plethora of gigs at Ryan's Bar, The George Street Bar at the Regent Hotel, The Wynyard Hotel, The Marble Bar, The Hopetoun, Sydney's "The Domain" park, Harbourside Brasserie and Randwick Racecourse to name a few. In the studio he was recorded in the 1997 "Slewfoot" album. Since his departure from the music scene in 1998, he has been dearly missed by his fellow musicians and friends. A comeback is rumoured, and we can't wait! Come on Matt, pick up your bone and take your rightful place on the front bench of the "Foot"!!!
